Sudarshan TV UPSC Jihad Controversy - Supreme Court stops Sudarshan News from airing UPSC Jihad show

A show called UPSC Jihad was becoming very popular, until some time ago. In the month of September, the government allowed the show to air, but now the court has banned the broadcast of the show. The Supreme Court believes that this show makes the Muslim community in trouble. Why did the Supreme Court say this? Why did the court feel that this show is targeting one community and making it difficult for that community? What is the whole matter?


Hello friends, I have once again brought for you an issue that has been in the news these days. A show was being aired on Sudarshan TV. The whole issue is related to this show, the thing is that a show of Sudarshan TV called 'UPSC Jihad' was associated with it. The editor-in-chief of Sudarshan News, whose name is Suresh Chavanke's style of anchoring, has been completely dissonant, due to which he has been in the headlines of other private channels several times.Sometimes he is shot in his show, sometimes he shouts, it makes it difficult to know whether he is anchoring or threatening. Friends, media plays an important role in our country which is considered to be the world's largest democracy. Nevertheless, there have been major changes in the media over time.

Apart from the important news of the present day Indian media, there are many things which are not visible in our life, the media only looks for this news to increase their TRP. Neither such news has any positive result in our life nor does the people of India get anxious to see all these things like the ill effects and Indian media. Due to which the media has become fond of seeing things more meaningless. Well, we will discuss this thing in detail again sometime, currently we come to the point of issue.


In the year 2009, when Shah Faisal became the first Kashmiri to get the first position in the Civil Service Examination, the expectations of Muslim minorities of India were also huge and he was also inspired to take the Civil Service Examination and as a result passed the Muslim Students Examination. The number of being also started increasing. Then people having mentality like these people might believe that the supremacy of Muslims will be established in India's best public service examination and they will rule over Hindus. These intellectuals also believed that if the number of such Muslims starts increasing in India's best bureaucracy, then India's progress will stop and the country will move on the path of destruction instead of development. In the month of August, a trailer was launched by Sudarshan TV in the month of August, 'Bindas Bolo' with the name of 'UPSC Jihad', whose editor-in-chief is Suresh Chavanke. The day the trailer was launched, the IPS Association of our country expressed its displeasure over this trailer and raised its voice against this injustice.


Through this trailer, two important things have been targeted, first is the federal structure (or constitutional framework) of UPSC and the second is to hurt the communal sentiments, many IAS IPS officers have also raised their voice against it. People raised their voice against this, including many big activists.They said that this show should be banned immediately and its broadcast should also be stopped. Cognizance was given by writing letters to big officials, whether it is Home Ministry or Chief Minister. When the matter went to the High Court, the High Court imposed the stay on the show on August 28, as well as on August 28, the Supreme Court said that its broadcast cannot be stopped and handed over the matter to the government.The government's information and broadcast ministry statement said that when the show is not broadcast, it would not be possible to ban it without telecast.
 

After the four episodes were broadcast, the Supreme Court has been reprimanded. The entire case was heard on September 17 and 9 episodes have been banned for the time being till hearing. The Supreme Court said, "You cannot target any one perticular community, you are defaming Muslims by targeting them directly, and at the same time trying to show that the whole mistake is theirs. Your program is Muslim Defames the community by misrepresenting them. "

Further, the Supreme Court said that the electronic media has so much power today that if it is used to target a community, then it can harm that perticular community, its dignity or impair the personality of someone can do. Further one of those judges said that nowadays electronic media is suffering from TRP which always promotes more and more things which are only aimed at spreading violence or hurt feelings.
