Thai Red Bull distances itself from hit-and-run case as boycott calls grow

Friends, as we have been noticing these days, looking at things around us, we feel that a strange atmosphere has been created. That atmosphere is of boycott. As we all know when China was infiltrated into India and many of our army soldiers were cleverly attacked by Chinese soldiers, the courageous reply was given by the brave soldiers of our country and on the economic front our government had imposed a ban on many Chinese  apps used in our country by raising taxes on Chinese  products.

A very large crowd had gathered up on the streets and Holi of Chinese products was burnt. There was a lot of anger among people about the products of China and then the Prime Minister of our country gave a slogan of Vocal for Local, in which the Prime Minister of our country appealed to the entire countrymen to use all the products of India, Select the products manufactured in India and be helpful to grow small and small scale industries of our country. The entire nation has welcomed this mission of Modiji and hopes that India will emerge as a superpower in future.

Well, this is the case of India, there is another country like India, where the atmosphere of product boycott is going on nowadays. Today I am going to tell you about the same country. That country is none other but a country located in South-East Asia, which was previously famous all over the world by the name of SIAM i.e. today's Thailand. Now what happened there that the people of Thailand started boycotting products and which is the product which is facing the anger of the people of Thailand and what is the reason for this boycott, let us know.

Protests by students have been going on in Thailand for the last 2-3 months, but those demonstrations were not completely finished that a new Protest started and this Protest is not against any government but against a drink And this drink is not like that, it is known by people all over the world and it is also in great demand all over the world. The name of this drink is Red Bull. But what happened to the people who are trying to boycott this drink, is it the student of Thailand also because of the protest ?

Actually, this case does not deal with any Protest, Redbull is being boycotted because Redbull was previously a pillar of Thai pride, but now it has become a symbol of inequality. Redbull is an energy drink sold by Redbull Gmbh, an Austrian company that started in 1984. Its market share is the highest among energy drinks of companies across the world, 7.5 billion cans of this drink were sold in the year 2019 itself. The idea of this drink by Austrian enterprenuer Dietrick Matishenz came from the Krating Daeng named energy drink already on the market.

Krating Daeng
was first exposed and sold by Chaleo Yoovidhya in Thailand. Matishtinz and Yoovidhya came together to form the Redbull Company in 1984, and the drink was promoted worldwide and made a slight change in the taste of pre-existing drinks, reducing some of the sweetness in the old drink and making it available to all the world. The lucrative success of the Redbull brand made Chaleo Yoovidhya an overnight billionaire, Chaleo's son Chalerm Yoovidhya was ranked No. 2 richest man in the list of richest of Thailand by Forbes, Vorayuth Yoovidhya is Chaleo's grandson and the third richest person Is from Thailand.

In September 2012, Vorayuth was driving a Ferrari that hit a policeman's motorcycle, and Vorayuth escaped from the scene. Due to which the policeman, whose name Vichin Kalyopurasarat died due to injuries. Later, when Vorayuth's body was examined, excerpts of cocaine and alcohol were found from his body. Vorayuth was detained at the same time, but refused to appear in court as soon as he was granted bail.Shortly after the accident, Vorayuth's family gave $ 100,000 to the policeman's family. He then flew out of Thailand in his private jet. Recently he is spending his life in the UK in a very luxurious way.

After this accident, it seemed that till now, rich person is never guilty. The quiet court case now catches pace when suddenly a new court comes to court in 2016. He confirms that the speed of the Ferrari was about 70 kilometers per hour and then the bike of the policeman suddenly changes the lane on the road, due to which the accident took place. The Prosecution team announces that the entire charge against Vorayuth on July 24, 2020 is dismissed. After this announcement, the anger of the people rises and a large amount of life gets packed on the roads.

91% of people who took part in a poll by the Thai research company, Super Poll, believe that they do not trust Thai's judicial system and 82% believe that the whole case was an international shame. For Thailand. The drink, once glorified for Thailand, suddenly becomes a symbol of the country's inequality. And in addition to, which is a movement against the government, Redbull is being prominently brought before the government.Over time, the dispute grew and gradually the whole matter began to come to the fore and it became known that the company which makes Redbull in Thailand gives a huge donation to the government, due to which this dispute increased and the student's rebellion became a government. against. On July 25, TC Pharma Company issued a statement stating that Vorayuth did not participate in the management of the company.
